Save the date: Virtual Grad Student Conference May 31 & June 1
HDFS graduate students will host a two-day virtual conference, “Collaboration in the Human Sciences: Moving from Theory to Practice in Local and Global Contexts,” in collaboration with the University of Patras in Greece and the University of Tübingen in Germany, on Thursday May 31st and Friday June 1st, 2018. Ph.D. students and students interested in the Ph.D. track across human science disciplines are invited to engage in discussions in-person at the University of Delaware or via video conferencing to share research, develop professional development skills, strengthen collaboration skills, and network with other students. Graduate students will leave the conference knowing:
- How to participate in productive collaboration
- How to utilize a variety of online platforms for collaboration
- How to virtually promote themselves as desirable job candidates after graduation
Poster submissions are being accepted through April 13, and registration opens on April 16. Participants can attend in person at UD, or virtually by logging in wherever they are!
