Jana Shelley

Jana Shelley is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Human Development and Family Sciences program at the University of Delaware. She recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Family Sciences. During her undergraduate, she worked in various research labs and was introduced to child development while working as a research assistant in the psychology department’s Cognition and Development lab. This research studied undergraduate’s and children’s math anxiety. As her interest have grown, she is passionate about elementary schools standardized testing practices, curriculum, and teacher preparation. More specifically, she is interested in educational interventions that will promote the success of all students.
