Drs. Earnshaw and Barnes looking at bullying based on stigma
Dr. Valerie Earnshaw and Dr. Tia Barnes have published a study in Developmental Review looking bullying based on stigmatized characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, race, disabilities, etc. Recently, there has been an increase in stigma-based bullying interventions, but Earnshaw and Barnes found that implementation of these interventions is still lacking.
