Dr. Courthney Russell, Jr. of Mastermind Society will lead the HDFS Social Entrepreneurship Professional Development series on March 14th at 12:15pm in 220 ALS.

Mastermind Society focuses on social entrepreneurship and poverty. Dr. Courthney Russell, Jr., is one of the owners and will be speaking on the perpetuation of poverty when the health and wellness for indigent people and communities is not addressed. Dr. Russell owns a company that envisions being the catalyst for changing healthcare by increasing access to quality healthcare through consistent care and increased awareness.

Their mission is to provide free quality medical attention and wellness services to the marginalized, indigent, and those experiencing poverty. In today’s society, medicine and healthcare are revenue based. They hold the fundamental belief that saving lives should be a priority. The medical attention and wellness services given to the indigent should mirror the care received by the affluent. They increase access through their mobile health unit–there is never a cost to those they serve.

Lunch will be provided, please RSVP to syarr@udel.edu
