Jana Shelley

Jana Shelley is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Human Development and Family Sciences program at the University of Delaware. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Family Sciences. Her research focuses on the racial achievement gap in early education, with a specific interest in using standardized assessments to trace patterns of educational disparities. Overall, Jana is interested in bringing awareness to inequalities in early education and ways to promote the academic success of all students.
